'77 Can Am with Firethorn interior with center console. Would like excellent, original condition example. Ex-dealer looking for one "that got away.." _________________ |

I've had a couple and while the instruments were Grand Prix, the rest of the interior and console should be straight Lemans.
Check with Frank's Pontiac Parts... see ad to the left. _________________ PontiacRegistry.com... building the single largest source of Pontiac information, services, and entertainment in the world! |

I am searching for people looking for Can Ams... have had a few requests lately.
Anywho... I think I read your request wrongly and replied as if you were looking for a Can Am console... DAH! I see now it is an entire car.
Well, we have some good news. We are ready (very soon, in the next day or so) to post a new PontiacRegistry.com help section called "Specialty Registries."
We have built the data base collection system for the 2002 Collector Edition Trans Am, the OHC-6 Pontiacs, and the 1977 Can Am.
We will be posting it soon and spreading the word to start populating the new Specialty Registries.
Hopefully this will help those like you searching for a Can Am. BTW, we are going to need an "Administrator" for this new feature. No big deal work-wise, just helping to keep an eye on it for us. _________________ PontiacRegistry.com... building the single largest source of Pontiac information, services, and entertainment in the world! |

Larry,
Thanks for the note, and I look forward to the added feature on this website.
Note, I have acquired a gorgeous Can Am! It is a really great example, and one you may know (J. Bavar car).
It needs a few things to make it 100%. Do you know of restoration shops in the Mid-west? Really appreciate your insights. Thanks! _________________ |

Congratulations!
The best Pontiac muscle car restorer, probably anywhere, is Scott Tiemann of Supercar Specialties in Portland, Michigan. Is that close to you?
I doubt he is cheap, but probably fair when you consider his knowledge and experience with these cars.
Check his web site at: http://supercarspecialties.com
Any chance of a bunch of photos and a good story about your new Pontiac and your love affair with the Can Am?
I bet you have a lot of cool information you could share from your dealer experiences. _________________ PontiacRegistry.com... building the single largest source of Pontiac information, services, and entertainment in the world! |
