If you do a quick Google search for "1976 Trans Am Door Strap" you will be surprised at how many sources you will see. New and used.
I would bet also that if you contact Frank's Pontiac Parts (click ad to the left), they will have what you need too.
My niece just bought a one-owner '76 T/A here in Bradenton, FL. Parked in a garage for about 15 years. It is 99.9% complete. It has minor rust in a couple spots, and a larger area by the lower right rear window. Nothing we can't fix. It must have been parked outside for a while as this is typical for older Florida cars. But all the bottoms, including all pans, are excellent.
The first day home it was running again, nice and smooth. They just went completely through all the brakes too. I bet it is back on the road in less than a week. Best of all, it was only $2500. Proves they are still out there. Nobody was biting on the guy's Craig's List ad because he didn't include a photo, and he listed it simply as a Firebird. See photos below. _________________ PontiacRegistry.com... building the single largest source of Pontiac information, services, and entertainment in the world! |
