Restoring 69 catalina convertible..looking for ideas on obtaining the little plastic clips to anchor on the trim on quarter, doors, etc. Seem to be having trouble finding replacements. Any suggestions on an alternative? |

It is good advise recommending Ames as they have put a lot of effort into the full-size parts development recently.
I did a search and while finding a boat load of places advertising various fasteners, found a Hemmings article that recommended a few. It's always good to get some one to share a place(s) from good experience. They are: Restoration Specialties in Windber, Pennsylvania - 814-467-9842, RJ&L Fasteners in Rochester, New York - 716-467-7421, and Antique Auto Fasteners in Whittier, California - 562-696-330.
For even more, you can check out the article at: http://www.hemmings.com/hmn/stories/2004/04/01/hmn_feature6.html |
