My '62 did not come with a PCV valve. It uses a simple old vent tube that goes from the lifter cover down the back of the cylinder head to underneath the car. Sitting in traffic with the windows down for any length of time isn't the most pleasant thing. I'd like to introduce a PCV valve and have the engine re-burn that stuff. Can anyone suggest a Pontiac factory setup that I can retrofit to my 4-cylinder engine that'll accomplish my objective while still giving the appearance that it came that way from the assembly line?

Is there a club member out there with a 4-cylinder 61-63 Tempest equiped with a PCV valve? If so, would it be possible to photograph both ends of the setup? I'm trying to retrofit one to my car.

My '64 215 6-cyl has a fitting on the intake below the carburator where the PCV line connects to...........I'll take a photo and post.
