I need a couple left-hand thread wheel studs and nuts for my '62 Le Mans. I can't seem to find them anywhere. A number of people have suggested I simply convert the whole side over to right-hand thread. I don't want to do that. So, if you know where I can get them then please let me know. Thanks. |

A quick web search produced a 4X4 site mostly for Jeeps, but there were a boatload of studs shown. Perhaps one will fit your needs. They invite calls with questions. It is Tellico at: http://www.tellico4x4.com/index.php/cPath/1714_302
Also, please check in our "Members Discounts" section listed in the navigation bar at the left under "Affiliates". There you will find Brake and Equipment Warehouse in Minneapolis. Remind them that you are a PontiacRegistry.com member as they are offering us a great discount on parts and services.
Please advise us how you make out with this hunt. |

my auto store in the dorman catalog lists lots of studs including the left hand ones. just match yours up to what they list and the older book still shows 60s pontiacs. |

Sorry, but I don't understand your message. What auto store? Where/what is the dorman catalog? |

I'm thinking he is referring to the "Dorman" product line.
I did a quick Google search and find their catalog at: http://www.partsamerica.com/BrandCategories.aspx?MfrCode=DOR
I see that they are a part of Parts America. we have a direct link to Parts America in our "Auto Products/Services" at the left.
I have heard their name before and you might find them at NAPA in their catalog rack also. I'm betting NAPA can getthe lugs too.
Pleasee let us know how this all works out.
Thanks,

Thanks for the clarification. California Pontiac Restoration [ www.pontiacparts.net ] indicates they have the lugs. I haven't checked NAPA locally. I will do that. Also, I'll be sure to post closure on this topic once I get to that point. Thanks again. |
