Beauty is in the eye of the beholder! I was obsessed with the '70 for over 20 years. My '70 sits in the garage waiting. I've had it since '11th. grade, way back in '72. So, my biased favorite is the '70!
Should Pontiac create a retro looking GTO, ( '68-'72, works for me) ) with high tech. chassis and engine, I think it would be my odds on favorite!
But, who knows with them, they may take a newer Monaro, rebadge to call it a G7 GTO edition. It is sickening how Pontiac has become nothing in the eyes of the automotive world.
Pontiac today is the girl you date when your first 10 choices are gone. Yes, you will learn to love her, and you'll find many redeeming qualities, but she just wasn't one of your top choices. |

I made many circle track cars out of these. I blew the doors off many chevrolets! I probably made them and their parts more valuable because of this. Now, in my old age, I'm selling the parts that I didn't tear up or throw away on e-bay. THE JUDGE(my name at the race track) |

Mine is a 4 speed also. It came with a 433 originally but I put a 355 in it right now. Factory Red fender liner car too. |

I like all of them, but there's just something about a '66 that does it for me! |

I think a 67 with the rear tail panel from a 66 would be the best...but since I have to choose one only, it would be the 67. |

1964 - the very first muscle car EVER. Yes 66-67 had better body lines and were more refined, with more options, but the 64 was unique and brutal and nothing could touch it.

My first one at 18! A silver 71 GTO, 400, M21...a lot of good memories in that goat! |
