Production numbers

Does anyone know how many 1967 Tempist Convertibles came through with the 4 speed and 326-2bbl?

Unfortunately, PMD kept lousy records- or at least what were released publicly.

The only things we can find in our reference books is the following:

Tempest Custom convertible- total production was 4,082

Tempest LeMans convertible- total production was 9,820

Of ALL Tempest Customs, 8,302 were standard (3 or 4-speed not indicated) and 67,023 were automatic.

Of ALL Tempest LeMans, 14,770 were standard (3 or 4-speed not indicated) and 90,132 were automatic.

Oddly, there are breakdowns of transmissions by station wagon but no other body style.

We find nothing broken down by engine either.

This does not mean that the numbers you are looking for do not exist, but where is the question. Perhaps PHS (Pontiac Historic Services) has some info. If you purchase their car search maybe they can answer this question too.
