See other post about the gas pedal.
The Parts Manual shows 1937 and '38 rear shocks to be the same. If you have the old shocks (tube-type, right) Gabriel has a tech line and they will match up the dimensions (outside size, travel, etc. with new ones for you. I did that with my '40 and it worked fine. I just had to thin down the top bushing to fit inside the cross frame bar.
SEE BELOW.
That reminds me... I need to call them to see if they can recommend an air shock as I need a little more support in the back. (Have a 400 V-8 now and the rear end is a bit too soft at times.) _________________ PontiacRegistry.com... building the single largest source of Pontiac information, services, and entertainment in the world! |

The only place I can find with new pedals is actually Metro Molded Rubber at: https://metrommp.com/detail-items/pedal-pads/accelerator-pedals/
This listing is of many different "patterns" made to be cemented onto an old pedal. Might work well until one day when you might find a complete new pedal.
