trunk hinge for a 1934 pontiac

is a 34 pontiac the only trunk hinge that will fit or will a chev trunk hinge be the same or other G.M. hinge of that time??????It is a 2dr sedan and the trunk hinge is 5 in. long ,one end is 3in and the other is 2 in Thanks Don

You do not mention if you have a coupe or sedan body style which are quite different in the trunk hinge department. At first glance it would seem that '33 and '34 Pontiacs would be the same, as well as the Chevy, Olds, or Buick.
I do not know if OEM items were interchangeable (and just can't seem to find any info on it), but perhaps aftermarket items were as they tended to make a little more generic for these. I am trying to think of the company who made aftermarket hinges and handles and keep coming up with "Regal". Just not sure. Can anyone help with this? I can picture the yellow boxes.
