I'm a new trial member to the site and, so far, I find it very well done and helpful. My question is: What is the difference between a "Standard sedan" and a"Custom sedan" for 1930 Pontiacs ? I own a 1930 4dr with wire wheels & dual side mounts. Does that make it a "Custom" ? Thanx all. Craig Magnuson

The Standard Sedan, Model 30302, was most recognizable by the fact that it only had 4 side windows. It resembled the earlier Landau Sedan, but without the landau bars. It sold for $825.00 and had Velour upholstery.

The Custom Sedan, Model 30309, had 6 side windows. It sold for $875.00 and had Mohail upholstery.

One account I saw says the Deluxe Sedan was "wearing slightly more deluxe equipment" but did not go on to say what that equipment was. We know more windows and better upholstery so far. Anybody have more to offer.
