Are you referring to two separate items: a GPS for mapping and a separate entry alarm system?
OR...
Rather the GPS tracking systems, there are a lot of them on the market. They only work to track a stolen car, not stop entry (though some seem to have alarms of some sort too). Here is a web site that rates the top ten of those: https://heavy.com/tech/2016/09/top-best-gps-tracking-devices-for-cars-vehicle-monitoring-obdii-module/ _________________ PontiacRegistry.com... building the single largest source of Pontiac information, services, and entertainment in the world! |

Let us all know if you find a good one in your search so others might gain from your research.
I hope the link I sent will be of help. Like so much on the internet today though... it's nice to find a lot of information-- but sometimes it's even too much to digest. Does Consumer Report still exist? They were pretty good and unbiased too. _________________ PontiacRegistry.com... building the single largest source of Pontiac information, services, and entertainment in the world! |

Think I'll go to some car shows and see what other classic car owners are using. Your link was a good start, lot of info.

hi Larry, most alarm/tracking are plugged into your OBD plug.
Not having one in my 66 GTO gave me a limited choice.
I decided to try CARLOCK. They have a two wire adaptor you can wire in with no trouble. $60.00 for Tracker/Alarm + $9.60 monthly fee, no contract.
Easy to setup and use. Has several nice features.
Only issue I have is not getting sound with my alerts.
They are working on that for me. Probable a setting on my iPhone.

It seems like the things the insurance companies want you to use so they can track your driving habits.
Looks like good peace of mind. _________________ PontiacRegistry.com... building the single largest source of Pontiac information, services, and entertainment in the world! |
