I have a 63 catalina with a defective slim jim. I would like to swap th400 into it. What all parts will i need to collect to get it done? _________________ |

I noticed one thing was missing from that article for a 63. You need an adapter ring for the crank output to go from 2.60" to 2.75".
I ordered mine from Bruce Fulper of pontiacengines.com otherwise Butler Performance sells one as well. |

1963 is the only year that has that pilot in the end of the crankshaft. He will also drill out the bolt holes to 7/16", my '63 Bonneville has 7/16 holes around the bolt pattern. i learned that one the hard way trying to install a 315 Super Hydramatic from a '64 Bonneville into my
'63. |
