Driver side arm rest box

I have just purchased an 1979 Bonneville barn find with 14k original miles. It is a 4 door red interior and the driver side arm rest box most have been very brittle from the heat sitting there and split/cracked the plastic. I am having a terrible time trying to locate a replacement. Any help or direction would be helpful.

It is (sadly) near impossible to find big car parts of this era. The only places we might think of checking would be Frank's Pontiac Parts (see his ad to the left) and/or Desert Valley Auto Parts. They have a lot of stock, but the bad part may be that they are both located in hot climates too. Worth a check though.

To broaden your search, have you checked if any Chevy, Buick, Oldsmobile, or Cadillac parts are the same (or close enough)?

Thank you for your assistance. I was going to try to contact Franks. In the meantime I did a little patch work on it. Doesn't look great, but will keep the box integrity until I find a replacement. Seems to be sturdy enough.

Looks like Red Gren is right... duct tape fixes everything.
