Larry , Again I know these are older post but I have a question & maybe you can help as you seem to have a lot of maybe old lit. Back in 2000 my car was in the GM calendar that all the GM dealers get weather it's Pontiac , Buick, Chevy, or whatever. My car at the time I had a 73 Trans AM & it was the april car. It shows it sitting in a gressy area which was a park near me, but I had an old calendar but can't seem to find it any more & really want to find another copy of it. I was so proud of it, in fact that is how I got it sold when i did sell it. I told the guy to go the his nearest Chevy dealer & get aone of the calendar & he could see what the car looked like because it was a pic taken just a bit ago.He was in TX & I am in Niles MI. Once he saw it he bought it right away. It was a #'s matching 455 4spd car with A/C & 3:08 rear end & 64K original miles. He was the 1st one to come up with the money as I had 3 more guys wanting it. (divorce) so it went away but I can't find the calendar with the pic. Can you Help?????????????? _________________ I have a 73 GTO that I bought new, well it was a demo because the car I ordered was an SD car which never came in & i had to take what was left because I was in the Navy & had to talk to the dealer when I could. |

Have never seen that calendar, but bet there were a boat load of such things made over the years. Unfortunately calendars are usually tossed, 'cause, after all, they are only good for one year.
BTW, I lost a lot more car stuff than that in my divorce.... tri-power set-up, complete 1954 straight-8 with transmission out of a 30-mile car, brand new 1954 Pontiac bumper still in the wrapping, complete hide-away GTO bumper assembly..... but it was still worth it! _________________ PontiacRegistry.com... building the single largest source of Pontiac information, services, and entertainment in the world! |

Ya, I know as the one that I got was being ready to be tossed because it was sept. when i got it. I got lucky when I got it , I just don't know where it's at now. It may be in one of the boxes of stuff I have but i have lots of boxes like most of us. _________________ I have a 73 GTO that I bought new, well it was a demo because the car I ordered was an SD car which never came in & i had to take what was left because I was in the Navy & had to talk to the dealer when I could. |
