I would be glad to try and help. How about a photo so I can be sure we are on the same page? Also, just to be sure, is it drivers' side or passenger side? Thanks! |

Hello,
Thank you for reply.
My car is the Pontiac Grand LeMans Safari wagon, A-body.
The trim piece I am looking for is on the right front fender,
at the very end of the fender at front. The next attached piece would be the front end clip with the headlight and grille assembly.
The piece I am looking for is about 8" long with the top having the bend forward to attach to other trim.
The bottom of that piece has a bend backward to attach to other trim.
It had the fake wood trim painted on it but I do not care about that. I can take care of that.
I only wish I had a picture of one to send to you. I will scout around a bit and see if I can find one and let you see it. This small trim piece is anchored down with 2 clamps that are tightened with body nuts through the fender.
Are you parting out a Safari wagon?
Once again thank you for reply. |

I have a large library of GM parts literature and was hoping to provide you with a part number. It is slightly possible that I may have one in my stock of NOS parts.
Not everyone is on the same page, as far as RH and LH on vehicles. They are always taken from the point of view from the driver's seat. Is this correct when you say that you need a RH molding?
If you have the car, can you provide me with a photo of the one currently on the LH side of the car? I can try to go by your description, but a picture is worth a million words. |
